Injectable products like Botox are widely available. We know that. We also know that technique is the key to a successful procedure. Dr. Cohen is a nationally recognized injector. He travels both across this country as well as internationally lecturing and demonstrating proper use of cosmetic injectables; including Botox, Restylane and Sculptra. He is the Principal Investigator on multiple clinical trials for these products, based on his impeccable reputation, dedication to science, and exceptional technique.
Dr. Szabo has been trained extensively in these procedures as well. In addition to training with Dr. Cohen, she has traveled to experts in the field across the country as well as attended conferences dedicated to perfecting the art of cosmetic dermatology.
Although novel injectable products and other treatments are always tantalizing, sometimes certain treatments available on the market have only been tested for certain indications. Misuse of such products by using them in unstudied areas, and/or poor injection technique can both result in undesirable outcomes and can even be dangerous.
