Did you know that one of the pioneers of Botox Cosmetic is a dermatologist? Drs. Jean and Alastair Carruthers together developed the use of Botox for cosmetic use in 1987 after astute observations in their clinical patients. Dr. Cohen studied with them for a year in Vancouver, British Columbia during his fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology.
