What to Expect During Your Radiesse® Treatment
During the procedure, your Board-Certified Dermatologist will inject Radiesse into the targeted areas with a fine needle or cannula. The process is relatively quick, typically taking less than an hour, and minimal discomfort is experienced due to the inclusion of lidocaine in the formula.
Radiesse® Recovery and Downtime
Post-treatment, you may experience some swelling, redness and bruising at the injection sites. These effects are generally mild and subside within a few days. Most patients resume their normal activities shortly after the procedure. However, we recommend avoiding strenuous activities for 24 to 48 hours to prevent elevating your heart rate and blood pressure, which could lead to increased swelling and bruising.
