Imagine softening the signs of time, enhancing your facial features with precision, and unveiling a refreshed, radiant version of you. With Restylane, we’re not just treating your skin; we’re crafting a masterpiece of elegance and natural beauty.
Restylane is a brand of dermal fillers that uses hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the body, to smooth wrinkles, enhance facial contours and create fuller lips. This line of fillers allows you to maintain a very natural appearance, even when making facial expressions that move the treated areas of the face.
A unique aspect of Restylane products lies in their patented OBT™ and NASHA™ technologies. These innovations allow for a customizable approach to skin rejuvenation, catering to individual skin types and aging concerns.
OBT involves varying the degree of cross-linking in the gel to create a range of Restylane products suited for different treatment areas and desired effects. This technology allows for a smoother gel with a softer texture that flows easily into the skin, providing a natural, flexible look and feel for contouring and volumizing.
NASHA Technology is used to create a firmer gel, which can give more lift, support and projection. It involves minimal modification of the hyaluronic acid, keeping it close to its natural form, suitable for more precise and structured treatments.

Candidates for Restylane are looking to address signs of aging or enhance their facial features. You might be a good fit for Restylane treatment if you:
A thorough consultation with Dr. Cohen or another one of our highly experienced Board-Certified Dermatologists can help you determine whether Restylane is the right treatment for you.
Post-treatment, you may experience some degree of swelling and bruising. This is typically mild, and often subsides within a few days to a week. Downtime is minimal, and most patients return to normal activities shortly after the procedure based on their comfort.
Book Your ConsultationYou can typically see the results of a Restylane treatment immediately after the procedure. The filler works instantly to add volume and smooth out wrinkles. However, it might take a few days to see the final results, as swelling and bruising from the injection process can affect the initial appearance. Usually within a week or so, bruising and swelling subside (depending on the product as well as the duration of the FDA studies), revealing the full effects of the treatment.
Generally, Restylane fillers remain in the treated area for six to 18 months, but many patients experience results for much longer. Restylane fillers not only provide immediate volume and wrinkle reduction but can also lead to long-lasting skin improvements through a process called neocollagenesis.
This process stimulates collagen production in the skin, enhancing skin quality and structure over time. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane also attracts water, promoting hydration and further supporting the skin’s health and appearance. While the immediate effects of fillers are noticeable, the underlying enhancement of skin quality can lead to prolonged aesthetic benefits even after the filler itself has been metabolized by the body.
Restylane treatment costs vary based on multiple factors, including the treatment area, the number of syringes/amount of product, and the number of sessions needed to meet your goals.
After your personalized consultation, we’ll provide specific pricing for your Restylane treatment.
