ABOUT TALITHA
Talitha Sarhan has been part of AboutSkin since 2019, bringing 15 years of experience as a seasoned Licensed Aesthetician. Her expertise spans lasers, microneedling, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and dermaplaning. Holding a B.S. in Biology from the University of Virginia-Wise (2001), she established aesthetic licensure in 2008 from the Yvonne De Villar Scientific Skincare institute. She was nominated for Best Aesthetician by Northern Virginia Magazine. Talitha is committed to delivering personalized skincare and treatment with a medical approach and a spa touch.
She is originally from the town of Pound, in southwestern Virginia. Talitha comes from a musical family, including Bluegrass legend and Grammy award winner, Dr. Ralph Stanley, her distant cousin. Her journey led her from a career in Medical Technology in Washington D.C. to a passion for aesthetics. After graduating college, she worked as a Medical Technologist at LabCorp for 5 years in Microbiology, then at Quest Diagnostics for 10 years in Radioactive Immunoassay. She obtained certification in aesthetics while working full-time at Quest Diagnostics. Her aesthetic career began at PR at Partners in Manassas, Virginia. Before moving with her family to Colorado in 2018 Talitha developed a passion for medical aesthetics with Germain Dermatology in Charleston, SC.
Talitha explores the mountain towns in her spare time. She’s an enthusiast of travel, hiking, and indulging in wine and whiskey tastings. She cherishes moments with her husband and brilliant daughter.
