Loss of Volume

Volume loss is a hallmark of aging, manifesting as diminished facial fullness, wrinkles and contour changes. Common areas affected include the cheeks, lips and under-eye region, resulting in a look that may seem perpetually tired or aged. Lost volume primarily occurs due to reduced collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the skin as we age. Additionally, lost bone density and reduced or displaced fat deposits can further contribute to hollows or recessed contours.

To counteract volume loss, dermal fillers are our go-to treatment. These injectable solutions are designed to replenish lost fullness, smooth out lines and wrinkles, and reshape sunken areas, enhancing your facial contours for a more youthful appearance.

Etched-In Wrinkles

Wrinkles are prominent signs of aging that can become etched into our skin, often resulting from repetitive facial movements and the intrinsic aging process. Over time, these wrinkles become even more pronounced as our skin loses its elasticity and ability to bounce back due to diminished collagen and elastin levels.

Addressing etched-in wrinkles requires targeted treatments that can reach the deeper layers of the skin. Resurfacing lasers and deep chemical peels stand at the forefront of these solutions, capable of removing damaged outer skin layers and boosting collagen production. For enhanced results, these treatments can be combined with radiofrequency microneedling — a technique that further encourages collagen and elastin synthesis for improved skin texture and firmness.

Skin Discoloration

Skin discoloration, or hyperpigmentation, is characterized by patches of skin that appear darker than the surrounding area. This common skin concern can be caused by various factors, including sun exposure, hormonal changes, certain medications and the natural aging process.

Addressing skin discoloration requires a multi-faceted approach that targets the excess pigment while promoting a more even skin tone. Chemical peels and IPL (intense pulsed light) therapy are highly effective treatments for this purpose, as they can break down pigmented areas and stimulate cell turnover. For more stubborn cases, pigment-specific lasers, such as the Q-switched laser, can be used to target and eliminate excess melanin in the skin. A customized skincare regimen incorporating ingredients like hydroquinone, vitamin C and retinol can support the results of these treatments.

Rough / Dull Skin

Rough and dull skin is a common concern that can make your complexion appear tired, aged and lacking radiance. This issue often arises from a buildup of dead skin cells, which can be exacerbated by factors such as sun damage, aging and poor skincare habits. To restore a smooth, luminous complexion, it’s essential to remove the accumulation of dead skin cells and promote cell turnover.

Chemical peels and microdermabrasion are excellent solutions for this purpose, as they gently exfoliate the skin to reveal a brighter, more even tone. For more advanced cases, fractional laser resurfacing can stimulate collagen production and improve overall skin texture. Incorporating a tailored skincare regimen can further enhance the results of these treatments, helping you maintain a smooth, radiant complexion.

Overactive Muscles

Repeatedly contracting your facial muscles leads to the formation of dynamic wrinkles, such as crow’s feet, forehead creases and “11s” between your eyebrows. These lines are initially only visible when you make expressions. However, over time, as you continue to make the same facial movements, they can become permanently ingrained in your skin.

We offer a range of injectable neurotoxins to relax overactive muscles, soften the appearance of dynamic wrinkles and slow down the development of new lines. These treatments can deliver natural-looking, long-lasting results while preserving natural movement and the uniqueness of your expressions.

Skin Laxity

Collagen and elastin are responsible for maintaining your skin’s structure, strength and resilience. These proteins are abundant in youthful skin, but as you age, your body gradually produces less of them. The breakdown of your skin’s internal support system leads to sagging and drooping that can be particularly noticeable in areas like your cheeks, jawline and neck.

The nonsurgical solution to skin laxity is to increase collagen and elastin production. We have a suite of state-of-the-art technologies, including radiofrequency, ultrasound and microneedling, to accomplish this. Your bespoke treatment plan may include a combination of technologies for the greatest impact.
